Step 1: Downloading Word Press
You can download Word Press from its official download page. We highly recommend to download the latest version of Word Press.
Step 2: Uploading Word Press files to server
After completing downloading, you have to upload the extracted files and folders to your server. You can easily upload the installed files via FTP.
If you want to make Word Press main installation on your account and also want it to be accessible via your main domain, you have to upload the extracted files to your public _html folder. Yet, if you want to run only a part of your site using Word Press, you can create a sub folder such as -public_html/blog.
Step 3: Creating MySQL Database for using WordPress
After uploading WordPress files to server, create a MySQL database. You have to assign a user to MYSQL database with full permissions. Before installing, check that whether you have written down the database name, database username and password correctly.
Step 4: Installation process
Now you have to navigate your website to initiate the installation process. If you upload WordPress in your public_html directory you have to go to your domain name in your browser. Here, you will notice a message, telling that you don’t have a wp-config.php file and you have to create one. Now, just click on the Create a Configuration File option to continue.

Enter the required information for your recently created MySQL database and press the Submit button.

Step 5: Entering administrative username and title of website
Enter the information about your administrative username and the title of your new site. Moreover, you can indicate whether you’d want search engines to index your website or not. After that, click on Install WordPress option. Do not forget to give your real email address as it can be used later if you forget your password.
If it has been installed successfully, you will see the following screen.
Now you can start posting content in your new site by simply using the Log In button.
