You can install plugins directly from the admin area in WordPress 2.7 and above. Just download the plugin and then log in to your WP admin area; after that go to Plugins > Add New. WordPress Plugins Uninstalling
Like the installation process, the uninstalling process of Plugins is also a very simple process in most of the cases. Just remove the directory for the plugin that you would like to uninstall. Then the plugin will be automatically deactivated.
